IMO it is also the reason for low gas mileage from those who travel around 75-80 MPH. I have looked everywhere for the "Drag Coeffecient" of the Fit/Jazz and found nothing. Common sense tells me it is nowhere near the Civic or the hybrid Honda's.

You should have tried searching here for the "Drag Coefficient" it's here. I asked several months ago and kps had the number it's 0.35. The Civic hatch for 2002 was 0.36 (higher is worse). As a point of interest the Drag Coefficient for the 2005 Scion Xb is also 0.35.

As for the Hybrid Honda's if you mean the Insight it was in the low to mid 0.20's if I remember right, I don't recall the exact # off hand or where I found it when I was searching. But that's like comparing apples to oranges it's designed differently.
Any time you have a flat hatch or flat surface on the back it's going to create drag. That's just a fact of life.
