Cup holders

Why are the cup holders in front of the AT shifter too wide to hold a small cup, and yet unable to hold a tall cup because the console is too low?

I find that whatever size cup I put in, the cup holders are too big! I can only use travel mugs that completely seal so my drink doesn't spill all over

My mom has a 2003 Accord and her cup holders have three little arms that move down when you put a cup in to perfectly "hug" any size cup. I want those!!

The vent cup holders work perfect for me usually. Plus the vents keep the drink cool!

I like the vent cup holders, too. Keep drinks cold in summer, hot in winter. I use the left lower cup holder for my GPS and the one on the right of the shift knob to hold a small water bottle.

eh. i find it hard to really complain about that when i really only use the one next to the vent. im not a raging acoholic, and im a neat freak so i never like to have more then 1 average size (can or bottle) drink item in my car at any one time but i can see why it would bother you if you buy nothing but the GIANT cups from "BUY LARGE AND SAVE." if you want to complain about something STUPID complain about the OE tire size

Cup Holders Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Why do we need them? I drove for many many years/decades without them. Never had the urge that I just had to have a drink at hand to distract me while driving.

A couple of weeks ago I got stuck in a traffic jam for almost 3 hours. I was sure glad I was not drinking. I doubt if fellow drivers would have appreciated me taking a leak on the left rear tire on the freeway.

I've had that problem. Fortunately, I still had the cup to, er, "go" in.
