New Fit Owner in Dallas
Hello everyone!
Maybe I'm posting a bit prematurely, as I won't be picking up my Fit until Saturday, but I just wanted to jump in here. There does seem to be an active local community here, and maybe I'll be able to attend the next meetup in the DFW area.
Right now I'm trying to figure out accessories and order some floor mats and decide where to get my windows tinted, and how much all of that is going to cost me--all of which are good problems to have!

Welcome to FF. If you need advice, just hit me up. For tint, go to Tritek off of Arapaho(not the Kingsley one) and ask for Hai(pronounced "high")say that Marcus with the Fit referred you. He'll give you a good price if you bring cash.

Not in Dallas, but welcome to the Fit community! It is a fun car and you will enjoy driving it.
My 2010 Fit was my first new car in decades and I am still loving it after 3 years.
Post photos and tell us what color you chose!

I got the Vortex Blue Pearl. I knew I didn't want red, white, black, or silver. My mother wanted me to get Blue Raspberry, and I thought at first that I wanted it too. But then they didn't have that color in stock and they did have the Blue Vortex, and I decided to get that one instead of having to wait for them to get the car from another dealer, etc.
I'm really happy with my choice! It's the color that I really wanted from the beginning, and it somehow "matches" where I am right now. I've been with my company a long time, and recently got a promotion that puts me in outside sales. They're not paying for the car, of course, but my new position (and new salary) enabled me to get this first car so it all kinda works.
I'll have to do some photos when I actually pick up my car!

Great color choice! I had to have a blue car as well
I wanted the darker blue, too-- I think in 2010 it was called Blue Sensation Pearl or something like that. But my dealer could not find one within a 500 mile radius. So I got the light blue available in the 2010 model which is called Tidewater Blue and I am very happy with it. It doesn't show dirt as much.
My dealer had to make a trade with another dealership to get that color as well.
My last car was white so I did not want the same color. Although I think the Fit looks really sharp in white.
If the red had been a metallic red, I would have loved that.
