Question Winter tire sizes

I have an '08 Sport and the std tire size is 195/55/15. I am looking to get winter tires for the stock wheels. The alternate tire size is 185/60/15 on Tirerack.com. Will these alternate set be narrower than the oem size?
Also, at the moment the car is not lowered but in the near future it will be, approxiamtely 1.5" lower. Will the alternate size still be good when the car is lowered?

great questions! the sizes listed for winter will still keep the same general OD , so problems should not arise, but it is always hard to tell with modifications with lowering. how far of a drop were you taking?

as far as the width, the tire will be 10 mm narrower

I will have some Progress Springs installed soon. I believe the drop is 1.5" F & 1.3" R.

I am looking for a set of winter tires and steel wheels for my 2007 Honda Fit Sport. Can someone quote me a package deal? Thanks.

ans1,

We do not have a steel wheel available for the car. I do have alloy wheels that work fine. The package in 14" would be about 596.00 with the Blizzaks.
If I can help let me know.

Guinness,

The only winter tire I have is the Blizzak WS60 in the 205/40R17 at 115.00 each.
If I can help let me know.
