The Kosei K4 is what I had installed a couple of weeks ago.. I have 205-50-16s and they do not scrape at all.. Goodyear makes a tire for Wal-Mart that is the same carcass and compound as the Eagle GT called Eagle Authority and I had some mounted on these wheels... The wheels look pretty good and they are called gray in color but looks like a slightly lighter silver color than my SSM Fit.. I think it was about a year or so back that I read a post from a guy that really liked the comfortable ride, noise level and traction he was experiencing with Goodyear Eagle GTs and I got these based on what he said and I get a 10% discount at Wal-Mart... With the amount of power I have it has been common for my front tires to spin like crazy just getting it moving and giving it full throttle when the clutch is fully engaged and finally hooking up in 2nd gear at 45MPH... They hook up somewhere between 35 and 40 now and don't spin nearly as wildly in 1st.... I have experienced perfectly neutral handling with no understeer and so far no oversteer... I need to drive it more because I'm not quite used to the lighter steering and tires that hold as well as these... I also the to install my new front coilovers and have the front end aligned... I am hoping there is more improvement but so far I am very satisfied.... It is hard to believe a 50,000 mile guarantee tire sticks as well as these tires do... 195-55-15"s on Enkei RPF1s are lighter than this setup and 195-50-15"s on the Enkeis would be able to accelerate much easier if the tread compound is soft enough to hook up sooner than what I had on them.. I'll be using them when it gets hot next summer because ultra high performance tires don't get much traction when the temperature is in the 40s or lower....

The Enkei set looks good but are hella heavy! Definitely can't go wrong with the light weight Koseis. The K-1 Kosei is a little more appealing to the eye but just my opinion. Why don't I see anyone using Volk Rays anymore? I remember them being one of the lighter wheels around.

All in favor of Kosei say AYE! Bthasht.... You must be driving on Virginia roads... LOL! The potholes in VA are worse than anywhere else I've been. Had my left rear 205/50/15 Dunlop Direzza blow out last week from NOVA pot holes. To say the least, SUCKIN at 0530 in the AM.

Thank you guys! esp. Texas Coyote! Thank you for your information.
I guess I would buy the Kosei rims w/ 205/50R16 Yokohama AVID ENVigor tires!

Im just not sure if 205/50R16 tires would fit into the rims without adjustments.

XXR are trash, just because someone made the mistake of buying XXR's brand new from a retailer doesn't mean that they should be recommending them.' Don't try and justify your purchase by making others suffer through the same subpar object.

OP: The Kosei's are a reasonable choice, however that tyre will be a bit fat on the wheel, steering will get heavier and fuel economy will likely drop.
