Ok you PacNW Fit Freaks, we've been around long enough, we need to have a meet n greet.
I was thinking sometime mid May, like the 12th or 13th. There are several places in the general Tacoma/Seattle area that we could meet up. Post some ideas. Let's keep it informal and fun.
In other words, the only thing that should be shined up is your Fit. I'm sure mine will be lower on the pole than the rest, but 11K miles through the mountains does start to wear down your front paint.
If those dates arent good for you, post other suggestions. This is wide open right now.

I'm here on the other side of the mountain's plus I'll be busy with work, but i'll see what I can do. I have VBP fit sport. I live in spokane, washington.
A buddy of mine held a supra meet/bbq/fun run at his place on sunday. Since I still don't have a running supra I took the Fit. She held her own on the fun run through the twisties.
Come on guys, we just need a good sized parking lot in a decent location.

Well alright, I'll post a locale. I know of an abandoned parking lot off of i-5 just a block down from the Tacoma Mall. Usually meet up there with the supra guys to make the run down to centrailia for our annual meet there.
Here is a overhead shot of the area:
this is a zoom in shot, the arrow is pointing at the ease of hoping onto the 5 southbound:

That spot works for me. It's nice being on I5 so it's not too bad for people to get there from all up and down the region. I have sundays booked for the next 6 weeks but saturdays are free I did just have a hernia operation though and haven't been able to drive for 10 days, so I may not be up for anything right away.
I'm open on the dates right now actually. I more than likely wont be making one of the supra meets that are coming up due to the rising gas prices... even in the fit I'm over $30 a full tank.
Bennet, this would be just a simple meet n greet. So there wont be alot of running around and such. Cept maybe down to the KK to give the cops a hard time.

Busy this weekend... I just got my BOM Sport AT last weekend..
I'm down south in Vancouver (WA., of course).
You mentioned that you had made a run to Centralia w/ one of your other groups.
If this type of run does take place in the future, maybe us "Southies" and possibly some of the Portlanders could make the run North to meet up in Centralia..?
I'll keep watching... Have fun..
well shit guys. sunday the 13th is mom's day and sat im busy...
lets bump this to a diff date since we dont have alot of support yet anyways.
super (bom)... the centrailia run is once a year. i didnt go on the run at all then, just met them there later. I'll keep you "southies" in the loop though. if yall come up with ideas, post em here or in the wa section

Hi...I wanted a Honda Fit when I first heard it was coming to Amerca. But it had no CVT, tho Japan & Europe Jazz had CVTs! That's really what I wanted. I ended up with a Dodge Caliber w/CVT which I fortunately am very happy with. But if you did get a gathering together, would you mind if an almost Fit owner attended your Meet?
P.S...Our Dodge Calibers are meeting at the Chrysler Enumclaw dealers on Sunday June 10, 2007 on highway 410. This is to coincide with Mt. Rainier being open to Sunrise Lodge. Maybe your Honda group can do something similar at the Enumclaw Honda dealers to attract more people who would like to go to Rainier too. Just an idea.
litesong, I dont have an issue with ya meeting with us in a non fit.
well, this weekend is some good (?) down time for my fit.... Tire blew on the freeway saturday night while i was passing an accident scene. Thankfully we were crawling towards the exit i needed. So, now I've got 2 tires with bulges, one just blew, the other is at a shop awaiting a replacment, that got ordered a week from today.... tomorrow the tire dealer and manufacturer are getting a hefty earful. This blows, literally.
