Alright, so I'm driving to my gf's house last night, her in the car with me. We are going up a fairly steep hill, and all of the sudden there is this loud BANG as something hits my door. I pull off, get out and yep, there's a dent in it. I'm like, WTF?
I look around on the dark road, can't see anything. We drive up and down the hill 2 times, there is NOTHING on the road or alongside it that could have caused the damage. No debris, nothing. There was nothing in the road before the hit and there was no cars alongside of me that could have kicked something over at me. fooking weird ass shit.
Have an appt today @ 11am to see what the shop says about it.
Yay for comprehensive coverage.
Pic... taken last night with my new cell phone, at a gas station:
Yeah, my car is dirty. I moved the dirt around with my finger as i felt the side of the car.
I'll post more up when i get back from the shop.

A tree limb that fell onto the road (out of a tree next to the road), hit your door and then ricocheted off into the woods? That happens here in the Santa Cruz mountains all the time in the winter. Like you said, yay for comprehensive coverage (unless the damage repair cost is less than your deductible).
