Probably due to the mixed MPG ratings. You win or loose with the Fit.

Yea. I mean for a car of the size, and how low HP the Fit has its MPG is not too impressive. I stopped tracking my MPGs along time agao because i started driving like a grandma whick took all the fun out of driving the Fit. Nowadays im in S mode up in the revs all day long and still getting like 28-30.

yea. i hate people that dont know how to accelerate when they are getting on the freeway. i bet those are they hyper miler people. grrrr i want to punch something now. i hate how people drive these days. no one knows how to go with the flow of traffic. everyone is too ****ing consumed with how many mpg's they are getting. ugh i hate the whole green movement. its bred alot of idiots.

I go yelled at too many times for saying it is stupid to turn off your car at a stop sign.

My car gets better MPG when I bring the revs up to around 3500-4000 and actually half throttle it from lights.

If I drive like a senior, I normally get around 30mpg city. If I drive like myself Ive never got lower than 35mpg city.
Then again, thats how my car is always driven. Its due to the way the ECU learns.

I also hate when people accelerate as if they were driving backwards.
Hell, Im in a 100hp car and Id like to move faster. Thats what the right lane is for peoples.

I still say those threads should be deleted. You have no brake control or PS.

the only reason i even see those damn threads is i am a frequent user of the new posts button. I like to respond to people's questions and comments as they come up if at all possible. That way the issues get resolved and i get more posts. It's a win/win situation.

Airbags arent that safe anyway. Hahha! Where I work, most of the paralyzed people are caused by seatbelts and airbags.

But shutting off your car while driving to save 1-2mpg PER TANK isnt plan idiotic.
