very true on the prius part, it disgust me, its a pussi move on saving gas. Anyone seen the VW vs Prius commercial? thats how i feel about the prius lol "Yeah the VW goes RRRR! how does yours sound?" "like HHHHHOOOOOOHHHHHH" xD sissy carrrr! lol
ive gotten so good at changing the oil in my fit. i change my oil about every 1000 miles so ive been through about 10 oil changes. i can change it in five minutes if im in a hurry.
hmm really? its all that easy? O.O im going to go read the manual right now and learn how to do it and save $30! :P lol any recomendations of oil or suggestions or w/e? b4 i try?
just take off the drain bolt. let it drain. unscrew the filter. make sure the o-ring is not stuck to the block. then put a little oil on the new ring, and screw the filter back on (hand tight). then put the drain bolt back on, make sure the washer isn't cracked. and fill her up.
what car should i get for under 20,000.. i feel the need for a faster car.
nooo =[ stay a fit freak

where do i find [edit] new o-rings? any auto store? and where do i find this oil for the o-ring? or is it the same oil that i put into the engine? and in the manual it says to use a new filter for every oil change, is that true or is that honda's way of making money??
no i'm not, i'm super cereal. as soon as i switch to royal purple synthetic oil, i'm going to put a huge wing on my fit, and then i'm going to put McDonald trays under my rear tires with the e-brake engaged so i can drift. it's going to be epic.

ok, you're starting to scare me. i was just kidding. *phew*
anyways, you can still re-use the o-ring. you can get new ones from a honda dealership, and there's no special oil for the o-ring. you can also re-use the old filter but it's better to get a new one. what i like to do to the new filter is dab a little of the old oil around the seal where it meets the block. i don't really know why i do this, but i've been doing it since i was 16 on all my cars.
