i grew up poor too but the way i look at money, you cant take it with you when you die so you better have some fun with it while you are around. prioritizing money to me goes like this
1. responsibilities
2. fun
3. savings
no use in saving if you arent going to have fun with it, and no use in having fun with it if you arent going to take care of whats important first. but if having a big wad of cash is what makes you happy, then more power to you, but i just dont have alot of fun with a bunch of pieces of paper.
eh, idc about mpg, i jsut want to get that so i kno when v-tec is on. i kno it turns on at 3400 but i cant hear it so -shrugs- and what do u mean by "those" guys? >.>
what's wrong with that? i think it'd be cool to know when vtec is active. it doesn't mean you have to listen to it. If he really cared about mileage, i think a scanguage would do a better job.

yep, i was thinking about a scan gauge earlier but i was like, wtf for, i pay 20 bucks a week to fill the gas, im not gunna be greedy lol
when does the vtec engage? i've always thought it was around 4K rpms.
i've given up on driving the fit like an old man, i beat it up whenever the traffic is light.

and what he meant by "those guys" is someone that takes up all their time doing useless mods when you could have been doing something more productive with your time. who cares when vtec comes on? if you cant feel the engine change over, then you need to read up on what vtec exactly is.
3400? ORLY? that's really early. i know this car isn't a race car but it sure does pull pretty hard on 1st and squeal the tires shifting to 2nd. 3rd is when i come back to reality and realize that it's a fit.

lol no just for informational purpose. if i had money, id do more "productive" mods :P it'll kick in this friday :P demonstrating next week. and besides this is my first car, and pretty much learning thingsabout the "car world" from the fit. i remember asking what a v-tec was, from the responses, i felt embarased
ugh i hate downshifting, especially 3rd to 2nd, and 2nd to 1st lol i do it at 40 mph to go to second, still kinda feel it
