I always use Nikon pic project to crop, sharpen, and add text.

Im looking for a program now seeing that so far i havent found a way to transfer over my music . 14Gigs of music that i cant use. This sucks. But atleast i will have a nice photo shop program. haha. Oh well one for the other i guess. I should have just bought a Mac cause it would have been super easy to transfer to one of them but i went Gateway again instead. It is kinda nice to have 2 computers running around the net at once

I never really got into Itunes myself, even though I've bought several songs. I mainly use Napster. With them, it's easy to download songs to another computer. You can link your account on up to 3 computers. Now I just remembered I need to update my laptop, which I rarely use now.

I'm sorry to hear that you are working with Vista. I hear that people have been downgrading back to XP since they hate Vista so much, lol.

Yea my other compute has about had it so i went to best buy today to get XP pro so that i could wipe it clean but after seeing the price tag i went over to look at new computers and walked out with one. It was alot cheaper then my last one so i am happy about that. Its a crap ton faster aswell so i cant complain. Then to top it off i bought a Tera external aswell so i have enough room for every pic, movie, game, and song i have and then some. haha. They are alot cheaper then i thought. I almost bought 2 of them. haha

I bought my most recent desktop at Best Buy maybe 2 years ago, and it's pretty finicky. It's a Gateway, and it's done some wierd stuff, like coming back on if I had to do a hard shut-down. My Toshiba laptop tends to work better, but it's older than my desktop. I need a new battery for the laptop, but those things are too expensive.

I was looking at Toshiba's today but i didnt want to spend the extra money. I was in the under 1K group and the Toshiba's were around 1,200 starting. To much for my blood today. They look pretty sweet and the speakers are supposed to be the best on the market. The Gateway i bought was just as fast just a smaller screen and smaller speakers but i dont really need all that.

Mainly got the laptop to help with school work, but I recently graduated and won't be using it much. It's great to have when I go out of town. I'll be going to Minneapolis in several weeks, so I will be taking it with me.

Haha. The red ring of death. Thats about the same thing. The black screen of death is when you boot up and the screen goes black and you cant do anything but keep on restarting and hoping that it will actually boot right. Most of the time it will start working again but occasionally they wont and you have to send them back or reinstal Vista. Its no good
