One thing that's sweet about the SE is that it's way cheaper! You can make $60K on the SE and it would be equal to $100K in SoCAL (by the time you weigh in living expenses & housing cost...esp. if you own).
Yeah, lol! I'll be making slightly more then I am right now but it'll be like a fortune because of cost of living.
I'm paying more for a 1 bedroom apartment right now then I would be paying for a mortgage payment back in FL.
I had to help a friend move last year, in the sense of helping him drive from Dallas to Minneapolis. All of his crap in the back of a Budget rental truck, and towing his Buick Century behind it. Took some time to get that truck up to highway speed.
His mother helped him pack, and made him take some stuff he absolutely did not need. For example, she packed some sort of paint that he did not need, and when he opened the back of the truck at a stop in Wichita, it fell out and broke, spilling on the truck, the street, and my friend's leg. Say NO to useless crap! lol

No kidding. When I moved out here, everything I owned that I kept fit into THREE 18x18x18 boxes, ONE suitcase and my "trunk." If it didn't fit into those categories it didn't go.
I've been done packing all my stuff for a week now. She's got so much crap....
