wow that looks great!
are you folks still plannign to make a folding armrest that has the hide-away cupholder as well since the armrest deprives us of a cupholder?
We don't plan to add a folding cupholder just yet as there are already 2 in the rear doors. If there is a demand we will offer it.
Thanks for all your interest/comments

The first batch of armrests have shipped. I want to thank all who purchased and made our products such a success! I look forward to helping the Fit community grow!
Props to you Angelo! Product arrived on time; 6 days from East Coast to Sunny California. The product was E-Z to install and looks like it was always part of the car!

What I'd like to see is an armrest that has a pull/pop out cupholder for the driver. I plan on using the front driver cupholder for my MP3 player and other somesuch. I saw a euro armrest somewhere for the fit that had a similar thing, but I like the look of yours better. I don't really care about the loss of the rear cupholder, but an extra one in front where it's actually easy to get to would be great!
The armrest looks great! I have a question though. When installing, it appears that I have to drive 4 screws into the existing cup holder in the back. Is this correct? (It certainly makes sense) If so that means that if I take out the armrest, I'll have 4 holes in my rear cupholder. (So I won't take it out!)

Can you please just clairify?
Thanks!
(oh, and where's the dead pedal?
You are right about the 4 holes in the cup holder. They are relatively small (1/8").
The dead pedal has been one of those items that we should have announced it when we had it available. We kind of pulled a Microsoft!
I am working very hard to get the pedal online. Your patience is appreciated.
Hi Zeta, questions about the armrests: I got the non-folding, but it appears that the folding armrest is longer (goes out farther). Is this true, and if so how much farther does it stick out? I might have to trade someone for my non-folding if the folding is longer... I prefer more support. Thanks!

The answer is Yes and No!. The folding armrest is longer overall, but the non folding unit has more surface area for your arm. The reason is that the folding unit has more of a taper at the back and the padding does not go back as much. Does that make sense?
Perfect, thanks! So it appears that the folding model is a few inches longer, you just have a little less area near the back. I think I'll see if anyone wants to trade me, since my seat is usually closer to the front of the car so I lose the usable area in the back
