Rack and Pinion replacement

Hi guy's I have a JDM 2005 Honda Fit GD3, had an accident a couple years ago someone A-hole slid into my RH Wheel and Fender, when it happened i did not have any problem but now after years i got an knocking sound went to my mechanic and he told me that a plastic spacer between the shaft and the housing of the rack and pinion isn't there anymore and i did some searching to order it but for my luck they don't sell them separately you need to buy the whole damn rack and pinion.

My Question now, for anyone especially for the ones in Miami FL, cause in October i'm going on vacation and i will be staying at a hotel in Miami for a couple of days, can i get an JDM parts warehouse there in Miami that has a used in good condition rack and pinion?

if so please let me know where so i can try to check it out when i'm there, does the USDM version rack and pinion fit the JDM version, if so is there somewhere in Miami FL, that i can get one used in good condition in a warehouse or something?

Thanks in advance

Isn't there anyone that can help me with this?

The JDM aspect is going to make that difficult unless the US car uses the same rack and pinion (not sure on that). If it uses a different part, I feel like you might be better off trying to source a salvage rack and pinion directly from Japan.
