Replacing clutch on Honda Fit 2007 sport

Hi, my clutch started slipping. On highway in higher gear in 5th gear especially. I ordered after price competing several options Brand Exedy OEM (not organic which is more $$):
https://www.exedyusa.com/products/HCK1006

Should i stay with Exedy (still could return) or not?

What else to change while changing clutch? Transmission rubber mounts or even engine mounts ????

Exedy OEM replacement is perfectly fine.

Change the throw out and pilot bearings while you're in there, and it would also be a good time to inspect your rubber mounts and clutch hydraulics.

If you're looking for some "while you're in there" mods, the shift cable bushings, shift select spring, and clutch delay valve delete are great mods that add a lot to the driving experience.

i wouldnt trust any exedy bearings it comes with. there's two bearings in there, one throwout and one in flywheel, go OEM only. inspect flywheel and replace rear main seal.

Isn't Exedy the OEM for many Japanese manufacturers anyway? I used a LuK kit because they're supposedly pretty good and it's an 18 year old econobox so who cares

Are you going to DIY it? I did a clutch (+ gearbox bearing) replacement here in this thread. It's not a a full guide (you can find some videos on youtube) but there are a few shortcuts you might find helpful.

from feedback from various honda forums, everyone warns against exede bearings which doesnt compare to oem. also i wouldnt say exede = good simply because they are OEM supplier. Exede makes cheap clutch all the way to fancy triple disk clutches being able to hold 700-800lb torque etc.

I replaced my throw out bearing with a Honda OEM based off advice from this forum and other sources who mentioned the Exedy bearing wearing out early. It's been flawless since and I've put about 15K on it. On a side note I used the an Exedy stage 1 and it's been the only mod I've done to my Fit and I'll never go back to OEM. It really wakes up the 1.5 by letting it punch into the power a little harder then the stock clutch will. I only regret not having the money to put a limited slip in at the same time.

Clutch disc is fine—stick to OEM for the bearings.
