D,S,L won't engage from cold start

Good day everyone, I got a CVT and changed the fluid just recently. I am having this weird issue whenever I start my engine from parking overnight or even after an hour of parking with my engine turned off. Whenever I select the drive gear, sport and low, the car won't move. It just rev and I have to go back and forth to neutral and drive for a good 2 mins or more before it engages. The reverse gear engages directly even if the engine haven't reached the operating temperature, its just the forward gears that I've got this issue with.

I didn't have this problem before, just right after changing my CVTF recently that it went from good to a frustrating 2 mins of waiting before I can drive my car.

Can you confirm if you have an A/T or a CVT? They're not the same thing, and the diagnosis of problems is probably different.
If you have an A/T, did you put fluid for a CVT in it?
When you added transmission fluid, did you confirm that you filled to the proper level? Low transmission fluid level will produce odd behaviors.

Sorry for the confusion, I got a CVT and yes I did made sure that I've got the right fluid level.

By the way, a little back story. I brought my fit to a mechanic and he loaded it with ATF instead of a CVTF. After learning that he filled it with an ATF, I directly asked him to drain the transmission fluid and fill it up with CVTF. I have driven it for about 10km already before chabging it to CVTF though.

I don't know anything about CVTs. It's possible that having ATF in the transmission for a short time is irrelevant. Or, it could be directly responsible for your issues. It seems like you need consult with a (different) mechanic or transmission specialist.
