Have a 2007 Honda fit… the AC takes long time to turn on/blow cold, a good hour before it “activates” after hitting the AC and starts blowing cold. Please don’t be disrespectful, I wouldn’t even know where to start to be honest. Recharge? I don’t know anything about HVAC systems. Thank you all.

 

Mine started out taking 10 minutes and then grew to over an hour. Turned out to be the ac relay under the hood. You can test by swapping the ac fan relay and the ac relay. If your 2nd fan stops working and your ac blows cold. You have confirmed it. Don’t drive it like this as it will overheat. I bought a cheap ac relay from autozone ( about half the height as the original) and I have had very cold ac ever since.
