Finally got it tinted, replaced the window trim/weather strips, and replaced the stereo receiver. Put in a new air filter and honestly never think of it so replaced the cabin air filter for the first time in probably 60k miles and it was BAD haha. Also the lower motor mount (transmission mount) was obliterated. I know everyone on here said to only do oem on all the mounts, but I went with the one from autozone. The other 3 I’d go oem, but this one is said to go out the most, and was the only one of the four with semi ok reviews. It has a lifetime warranty and is easy to change so I’m not too worried about going with the duralast one for that.
Side note: the wire harness for the gd3 only had one plug, but the stock had 3? Ended up buying one that says it’s for a crv, but fit perfectly fine and works. Didn’t need to actually wire anything up, just plug and play. The clips on the scosche dash kit were really weak so I used the original ones.
About to hit 200k miles so I’m going to do a valve adjustment, replace the valve cover gasket while it’s opened up, clean the throttle body while it’s off and replace the spark plugs and coil packs. Need to change coolant, manual transmission fluid, and brake fluid.
My radio face looks just like yours. Did you have to buy the little cubby separately or did it come with one of the parts you listed? Not sure which aftermarket I will get but was curious about the space that will be left.
I need to essentially complete everything on your list.
Yeah I linked to the dash kit I used, it came with 2 different trim pieces, so you go do either single din with the cubby, or a double din with the big screen. To my understanding the scosche kit works better for jdm fits and the metra kit works better for usdm fits.
