I seek advise about Catalytic converter best aftermarket

I have a 2007 Honda Fit sports with automatic transmission. , I tried shopping for Honda brand for a catalytic converter. The dealership charges $3000 locally the other one half hour away is $2400. I did find an online Honda wholesale. It was priced $1600. So what is the best brand for aftermarket. I know Walker is a good brand or Megaflow , I’m aware if you get aftermarket, Does aftermarket istill trigger it check engine light.

I
there carparts.com. There are brands such as JC Whitney…. Evan Fischer … Davico. I sure I choose exact fit for the Catalytic Converter. I seek advice of those brands. I cannot afford the Honda genius part due to a fact it cost so much. But carparts.com looks promising. Tell me about JC Whitney or Evan Fisher or Davico even Walker brand. Are these good aftermarket parts for Catalytic Converters.

I seek advice choosing the right aftermarket brand for a Catalytic Converter. I live in Michigan there is no E check. Like some states.

This is the one I have in my Fit and it improved performance and even sound. It's an awesome cat. Recommended without reservation.

I went with Magnaflow. Item number is 5461767. I live in So Cal, so more expensive out here. Got it for $1400.00. It gave it a nice sound with my HFP muffler. Better than the stock cat. Passes smog. That was my experience. I have an automatic. Hope this helps.
