Tires - OEM Dunlop SP31 replacement
Well my OEM Dunlops have lasted 28000 miles and the rears have cupped so I'm going to replace them soon to get rid of the road noise.
For people who've kept the original sport wheels, what have you replaced the Dunlops with? I'll be looking for a performance all-season tire... Thanks |

Hopefully that link will work. It's a link to all the performance + tires on tire rack for the honda fit sport. they are all season. Looks like goodyear has a new one in our size. Looks nice. |
Thanks for the link.
I've actually already searched for available tires on TireRack, etc. But since there's so much out there I was just trying to see if anyone had any first-hand experience non-OEM tires on the sport wheels. |
you should get
performance: dunlop direzza sport z1 star specs all season: falken ziex 912 |
I've read good reviews on those dunlop z1's
I've had personal experience with 912's on another car, and i have friends with fit's who also have the 912's. for the price, not a bad tire at all. Stay away from the 512's if they are still being sold. |
there's only one option IMO. Bridgestone Potenza. The best tire I've seen.

Thanks for the suggestions here guys.
My final decision came down to either the Falken Ziex 912 or the Sumitomo HTR+, and I went with the Sumitomo as I could find more independent information/reviews than I could with the Falken's. Both being nearly the same price, I probably wouldn't have lost going either way but I feel more reassured going with the HTR+. I'll let you know how they work out once they're installed. |
