Honda Fit Sport Black Unpainted Fog Light
 

i have been seeing fit sports with black or unpainted fog lights.
are these honda fog lights that are non painted?

where do you get them?
or are they aftermarkets?

they actually are honda fog lights that are painted. many people have done it,

Aside from painting them, there are also aftermarket fog lights that have a black, apparently unpainted housing. I see them on eBay all the time but haven't been able to get a clear answer as to the quality of the wiring. Honda has retrofit fog lights for the base Fit that also have a black housing. You can find them here.

Mine is unpainted and just black plastic like the same stuff as the lower grill.
Not sure what type of plastic, but they are original Honda fog-lights.

since i already have the sport with the fogs, can i buy the base fog lights and just swap out the housing?

how about take those out and paint it black

would be cheaper to do em yourself and you will feel accomplishmed when you are done ;D

i saw those lights. will those fit on the sport as a perfect replacement?

The fog light itself has the following markings:

SAE FOO
STANLEY P5299L

Type of bulb is:

Philips H11 LL
Germany M519
12v 55W 12362 LL
25m U DOT

Guess you have two things to take care of
1: Is the stock fog light same then it can be installed in this cove
2: how is the stock fogs installed in sprots as to install this you have to cut the

If you need dimensions let me know. I have my fogs in the box here waiting for Xmas morning to open the box and install. Got them from Middlegate Honda they have them on sale for C$180 + tax

aftermarket ebay black foggies swap out easily with the sport...just toss the wiring.
