[really jealous]
congrats and happy birthday! :D |
DAMN, happy birthday baller! LOL. =]]]
|
Ya, I'm very excited about these. I have been looking for suspension for a while. My wife called the local honda dealership where I bought my fit and talked to a mechanic who suggested the sport suspension to her.
She bought them from King and they told her that they don't need any mods to fit. Is that true? |
i'm not entirely sure. you should send a PM to SHG_Mike, he's running the mugen dampers as well
damn you, i get so jealous every time i get back in this thread... i'm out of here :p (good luck with the installation) |
whoa!! happy birthday and good luck with the installation.
birthday rep!! |
I just talked to King and they said it as a direct bolt on deal. Maybe they made the mod before they sent them out. I know it has something to do with the bolt size for the front shocks.
I know SHG_Mike had to modify or drill out the holes slightly. I read somewhere on the forums that King made these modifications before they go out. I know they modify mugen headers to fit the Prelude. |
king motorsports modifies the top threads so that they are 17mm instead of the jdm 19mm.
you dont need to drill out anything. :D |
b-day for the car or you? :p
|
damn thats awesome! lucky you!
|
That is a nice gift indeed!
|
I'll take some before and after pics as a reference for all those wondering about the difference in ride height from stock to mugen.
I have a 2008 Mugen catalogue and it states a 20mm or .78 inch drop. I think it's going to look good with my HFP wheels. |

I did not ride with the full mugen kit however I've ridden in my car and my gf who has just the mugen springs. If you've ever ridden in a car with hfp suspension its very similar to that |
i would listen to shg_mike cause he has actually installed these before.
im just relaying information that i have been told. |
