Parking lot "bumper bender"

Arrrrrgh. Low-speed parking lot collision this evening. Luckily no sheetmetal damage, but the rear bumper cover on my '07 white Sport has got some scrapes & a 5" or so vertical tear. The cap popped out of it's mounts along the driver-side rear wheelwell, but I was able to pop it back in place. So now it's just ugly. :(

Can these be repaired, or will it need replacement? And if it's the latter, is it a reasonably easy DIY (and where is the best place to get parts - stock, not a body kit)? Or am I going to need a body shop no matter what?

Several weeks ago I had a low impact fender bender- a guy driving in front of me decided he wanted to go in reverse and backed into my front bumper. He hit it just hard enough to put a small 1.5"-2" crack/puncture in my bumper. Cost to repair from the body shop is about $600. His insurance is paying, thankfully.
Anyhoo, I'm not sure whats out there for a DIY repair, but one alternative might be to visit your local Honda dealership and see if their could do a touch up on it, if its just minor. They might charge a fee for it, but might still be cheaper than a bodyshop repair. As for DIY, I believe you can order the touch-up paint for the Fits for small dings and stuff. The filler, I'm not sure.

if it's torn it's usually easier just to get a new bumper cover and
get it painted.
