I feeling bored of my 7th Gen Accord. Thinking of selling it and buying an S2K. Pics

So ive owned this car since November 2005 and have modded about as far as I can go. I payed it off a year ago and have stopped modding around last summer. I bought a 08 Honda Fit in July and have focused my efforts into that car just doing basic stuff. I dont want to spend too much on this car as it is my daily. Only thing I haven't touched yet would be a rear disc conversion a possibly a supercharger for it.

The Accord has been so far since I got it. Started life as a daily only to turn into a garage queen. It has only 21,063 miles on it do date.

Engine: TL-S cams, port and polish intake mani, lower runners, throttle body bored out all by King Motorsports. Cat deletes and jpipe, AEM V2 intake, 2.5 inch straight pipe, 3rd cat removed, and Lexus IS300 muffler. Has both the ingalls and another torque dampener. Boomslang jumper harness and VAFC Neo.

Suspension: TEIN SSP coilvers, comptech rear sway bar, TL-S front sway bar, V6 coupe front upper strut brace, camber and toe kit

Brakes: TL-S four piston brembo and rotors

Body: Roof is painted black, black housing headlights, OEM Spoiler and HFP front lip, Hybrid Accord mirrors with signals, body color grill, dechromed trim, 08 Accord XM "fin" and body color mudgaurds

Wheels/Tires: 19 front and 20 rear RonJonSport 3 piece wheels and Nitto 555 tires

Sound: (2) 12" JL Audio W2V2 and Kenwood 1000 watt amp

Thats about it. Pretty much have hit every aspect. I have wanted and S2K ever since they came out. I am finally getting to the point where my insurance wouldnt be so much but dont really want to sell either of my Hondas to get one. I own the Accord and owe 8K on the fit. I have a moderate size house. Id like to get the S2K as a third but really can afford all of that right now. I have had the accord setting all winter which I think may have led me to become distanced from it. Of the two I think the Fit would be a better daily, ( better fuel mileage, haul stuff easier and larger items with space when seats are down, worth less, and dont have to worry about auto tranny failure) The Accord could be a daily but would have to have the wheels pulled off and raised up a bit.

I need some suggestions:
1. Keep both cars and forget S2K
2. Sell Accord and part it out and buy S2K
3. Sell fit, daily Accord and buy S2K

The S2k would need to be 05 or newer and either white or silver. It would be on coilvers immediately and boosted soon after. I think the S2K would be a better garage queen than a regular old Accord(although mine isnt) but idk

Heres some pics of the Hondas for reference. Thanks for all you help!

Your Fit definitely has to stay, especially with those wheels on. What kind are they?

I'd say part and sell the Accord for the S2K. Your Fit can be your daily/family car, and the S2K can be your bachelor guy car.

wheels

The wheels are 16inch Rota Slipstreams 40 offset. I have so much invested in the Accord its a hard thing to do, letting it go. I am 25 so the bachelors car would work, no family yet. Would have more money left to work with after selling the Accord to mod the S2K. Im going to go drive an S2K after work on Saturday, from there I will decide what to do.

That is just about the nicest set of hondas ive seen very nice work too both of them...as for the s2k i would have to say keep the fit as a daily driver/hauler/anything else they are really versatile and can hold a lot.. The accord looks amazing but would need some work if you wanted as a daily which requires more money which i bet u want to use only for that s2k...so in my point of view part and sell the accord buy a s2k and keep the fit as a daily

They both look, drive, and are in prestine condition. Regardless whether you can afford an S2000 your other option is to save your money for a rainy day in the event you need it for an emergeny, but the fact that you do have the money to do it makes it more tempting to get the S2000.

keeping both cars and then getting an S2000 wouldnt seem reasonable and unnecessary

Parting out and selling the accord would take some time but you would get more money then just selling the accord with all the items you have on their.

As a fit owner myself you definatly have to keep the fit for obvious reasons.

I am sure you saved aside some moeny for emergency's and the extra money you have laying around the house can get you your new toy. so I would say get the S2000 and sell the accord and parts sold seperatly. you can get a really good deal selling your accord stock and since it is in prestine condition and has low miles it wouldnt be hard to have a buyer.

The Fit is so versitile it is undoubtedly bound to stay my daily. The Accord is excellent but may have to go. Heres an update:

As you may pr may not know, I am a technician at a Honda dealer here and as fate will have it pulled a job on a 05 silver S2K today, first car. RO said no-start and clutch pedal adjustment. No start ended up being a PGMFi fuse probably blown by his AFC Neo. Adjusted the clutch and replaced the fuse, then, got to go for a joy ride, I mean test drive, lol. Car was lowered, had K&N intake, ebay header, T1R exhaust. First time really driving a modded S2K and I can say it was a blast. Seemed quicker than my V6 Accord and was definitely more fun. I think I may have found the way to decide this. If the guy I offered to buy his har end up wanting to sell and is a decent price, then I make the leap. Otherwise, I keep the Accord. It seems impossible to find a S2K in the midwest anyway. See what happens. Thanks fellas.

You'll get more money parting out the Accord and I would keep the Fit for the DD. My cousin bought his
S2K a few months after I got my Fit. It is garaged kept and only allowed out if the weather is perfect. . He loves the car and has a Honda Accord with over 200,000 miles on it for his DD.

Yea man get the S great car i was going to get ride of mine but no good offers. I dd mine now and love it when i get a little more than half of it payed off that is when i buy a truck and a trailer so the CR becomes for weekends/track use only. And at that time i plan to do Header, full exaust, intake and maybe nos with a good tune. By that tune it more on the safe side instead of for high number don't want to harm the engine

I have a Fit and S2000. I say get a 600RR instead of the S2k. Just out of curiosity why do you want a garage queen? I mean the S2k is meant to be driven on gorgeous days, not sitting in your garage. Also if you plan on buying the S2k to boost it, then you should seriously buy the motorcycle instead.

I will def keep your contact info. Wont be selling camber kit as I may keep the car lowered on some tein springs I have on stock shocks. The coilovers would be for sale though. the car might look funny on TLs sitting high. The mirrors would def be up, but would need stock mirrors (silver) on trade as I dont have mine anymore.

Thanks for the comments on the Fit. It is a very practicle car and is fun at the same time. I get some sh1t for driving a mini-odyseey from people @ work but have become used to it.

I have never rode a street bike, although many of my buddys have them. My girl would never let that fly. Sounds like fun though.

The S2K would end up boosted sooner or later. Not looking for huge numbers though so I mean if a Corvette or Mustang beat me, it wouldnt hurt my feelings too much.

Still havent heard back from the guy I offered on his car so I might be staying where Im at. Ill know by friday I guess.
