Rear shoulder belt won't stay put!

This is just a minor annoyance, but I wonder if anyone has found a good solution. The rear shoulder belt, which I have never used, continually drops down from the ceiling mount where it lives while not in use, and dangles there in my rear view. It's just a little distracting. No matter how tightly I jam the thing in there, it won't stay for more than a day or two. Any tips for making it stay?

/learn 2 corner

Really, if you (or at least for me) take a turn too sharp/fast the belt will pop out of its slot. One solution I seen somewhere on this forum is where a member removed the plastic slot and I believe they bored out the hole that the belt clips into.

I'll see if I can find the thread for you...

...here you go.

Awesome. Assuming it's not 112 again this evening, it'll be done by dinner.

I haven't done this and more than likely will not because like I said, my center belt usually pops out on a spirited drive. Mind you, the only thing that really is loose on the holder is the section that holds the seat belt's clip and that always slides out a little; but if I jam the smaller clip into its hole it stays in place rather well.

Mine fell out once. I discovered you need to insert the metal latch (as if you were buckling the seatbelt) until it "clicks" (latches in place).

Just like somdamon said if you insert the metal latch it will normally stay put. Since 2007 mine has only slipped out twice.
