Last Wednesday (02-06-2013) I assembled, modified, and installed my AFE Stage 2 intake with a Pro Dry S air filter. There was a noticeable difference, seems like the car pulls from VTEC engagement (3.4k RPMs) until around 6.2k-6.3k RPMs instead of dying off at 6.0k.

On the other hand, I noticed that from 2.5 to 3.0k RPMs in stop and go traffic as well as puttering around town more throttle input was required to accelerate than with the factory air box. So its obvious to me that with just the AFE Stage 2 intake that power/torque is lost in that general area... not sure how much but I'm not going to dyno it to find out.

In addition to that, one thing that annoyed me (at least due to having a sinus headache for 4 days straight) was how loud engine was during VTEC engagement. It completely drowns out my HFP and radio... but pulls pretty darn good in the process.

So on Friday (02-08-2013), I removed it and put the factory air box back in. I'm thinking that at least a 4-2-1 header will help offset the power/torque lost in the lower RPMs and help improve the mid-range, maybe even a Weapon R Intake Manifold in addition to that.

Other than that, I'm currently waiting for my Hondata Flash Pro and some other goods to get here. More than likely, I'll be putting on the AFE again but only time will tell.

Cool, if its still around after I get a 4-2-1 header I may consider it. Thanks for the heads up.

Is there ANY chance you can share pic's and details of this with me via PM? The one I am working on also appears to be missing that additional PCV vacuum barb needed for a USDM...

And how many of those were under boost? Man, I thought I was turning low mileage at an average of 17.25K a year!!!

Only ~2500 sadly. I didn't like the first turbo. Ton of midrange, but choked up top. I really did not like the FIC either and it was all sold locally. Not sure if that guy ever got it up and running.

Second setup I had was never installed, instead I sold that to a member here, Jazzista overseas, but somewhere between the USPS and the Italian Postal service the entire kit was lost save for the IC which a neighbor received months later and brought to me. The rest has not been seen since unfortunately. Twice I had them start an inquiry and both times they basically shrugged their shoulders.

Which re-inforces my insistance to spring the extra money for FedEx/UPS.. its expensive but worth it.

I'm in boost withdrawal now. Have not had a turbo car to drive since Oct. 2011, when I sold my Laser..

Once the Eclipse is done and sorted, the Fit is going in for some hot-side fabrication.

Still no ETA on the compounds though. Everything except for the exhaust plumbing and the oil system is on hand and waiting to be installed however.

I'm thinking about buying a GSXR off a a relative to commute to work while I build up the Fit if I decide the Eclipse attracts too much attention from LEO's for DD-ing

+ Oil change with Mugen oil filter
+ Used Red Line synthetic oil
+ Spoon magnetic drain bolts
+ Installed Mugen front strut bar
+ Installed JDM a/c vent control stickers
+ Installed chrome door lock pins

- Still waiting for my JDM passenger side sun visor so I can install the driver side one as well
- Waiting for my Zoom CF rear view mirror back piece to be shipped to me
- GF was putting the Mugen decal on my front strut bar and put it on upside down lol
- Not sure how to install the blue Spoon side glass mirrors. Should I super glue it on or just add more double sided M3 tape?
- Second parking ticket this month for not having a front license plate in gf's neighborhood. I think I'll just leave it in the dash and see if that works next time...

Have been flirting with different wheels in the past and over going through about 10 different sets, I decided to just go back to stock. I realized I prefer the GE OEM 16" wheels (09-11) so I picked a set up yesterday and I plan to raise the car back to stock height because im getting too old and the wife is tired of scraping the front bumper.

Just for the record, Honda doesn't recommend transmission flushes. A simple drain and refill is all that is needed... you can off course drain and fill it a second time after driving the car around a bit though
