ATF Drain Plug Location
The attached photo was taken from the passenger (right) side of the car looking toward the drivers side. Is this is the ATF drain plug I have an arrow pointing to? I have tried to remove it using a 3/8" ratchet, and some gorilla must have put it on because I can't budge it. I want to make sure it is the right bolt though before I start wailing on it with a BFH.
thanks edit: not allowed to add attachments .... so photo I am talking about is here: Picasa Web Albums - Cameron Kennedy |

That is the drain plug, use something for leverage like a big metal pipe because it's torqued on there like hell if I remember correctly

3/8" extention 1" long and a breaker bar worked for me.

thanks all. Finally got to try this again last night and it worked perfectly using a breaker bar.

Cool what did it look like? still alittle red or had it turned brown?

When I took it out I didn't think it looked too bad for 148K miles. But when I put it next to a few drops of the new Honda genuine stuff .... eh not so good.
