So I've been hearing all the "hoopla" about this new 3-D C/F wrap....So I thought I'd give a go!!! I'm think'n about wrapping the roof of my ride, but like they always say...if it's new to you start small- so I figured a lic. plate frame is small so I went wit' it. If you have patience this is a good test. Jus' do your layout, cut it and tack it,remove air bubbles with a credit card. The corners are tricky, jus' heat with hair dryer, stretch and press until it's smooth. I'm mounting them with a light smoked acrylic cover. Can't wait til' tomorrow to see what they look like mounted.. Remember... you could always buy c/f lic. frames, but I like to do my own projects. :hyper: |
I like it since it looks really clean and it will keep looking good; on the plus side it won't be like real cf plates that get the clear coats which crack after a while, Good Job Man

i like how you(vinnymac) always think outside the box. this is awesome :)

Looks great. How is the finish in person, does it look just like cf? Or is it matte like finish?
