Driver's side power window Fit 07
 

So I had this very annoying problem just recently with the driver's side power window getting stuck in an open position on my 07 Honda Fit Sport. At first I thought it got frozen, but after the car thawed out, there was no difference, and the other windows close and open just fine. Then I suspected a blown fuse, but that is not the case, either. I brought it over to the auto shop and the guys told me it was a malfunctioning switch AND a power window motor, and that it would cost me about $ 470 to get them fixed. Well I am smelling something fishy here :bsflag:, as even if it is the case, the parts cost about $ 50-$ 80 each and do not seem that hard to replace; I could be wrong though, but would like to hear from someone with a similar experience. Now, the car's battery had been dead a few times, and the radio was reset; the windows worked fine at the time, though, but I will still go ahead and try the "reset" trick from the forum before I do anything else. However, would like to hear more suggestions and advice Thanks a lot!
