Is it possible to re-programme the radio

Hi-I have a 2001 Honda Fit. I bought the car with radio set up for the Japanese market. Is it possible to re-programme the radio for other markets? The band width I have is too narrow to pick up many of the radio stations here is South Africa.

Any help greatly appreciated.

no. you need to swap out the radio.
