HELP MECHANIC JUNKIES!!!Serious problem with my 07 fit and I am out of options!

first things first....about 3 months ago my 07 fit started running rough. EX: no power, acts like its running out of gas, almost dying while on take off and rough shifting up only while revving up to a high rpm before finally shifting out hard, and hardly running while sitting at an idle. I had the code read and it was misfiring on only two cylinders. So I changed plugs....that worked for a couple of weeks then it started again and misfiring on same two banks. we changed plugs AND boots. Drove like new for a couple of more weeks and now its misfiring on all four cylinders and I called Honda and they said that they have never had to replace the fuel filter or catalytic converter on any Honda newer than a 98 so I am out of things to look at. Has anyone had this problem or has anyone encountered this problem and what was the fix? Please and thank you!!!! <3

4 plugs
4 coil packs (you called them boots)
valve adjustment

All three need to be done at some point. If you only replaced some of the coil packs; no good. If you have never done a valve adjustment; no good. Do all three of these since you need to do them anyway; it will cost some money, but is NOT a waste of money, and ONLY then should you start looking at other possibilities.

Oh, and I'm not a mechanic, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Thanks! I never said I was a mechanic either. I'm just tired of every parts store and dealership feeding me a different line of bs just to make more money for commission. I just want to know what's wrong with it. it just rolled over to 155,000 miles and nothing of those have been tampered with yet. so again, thank you.

if doing plugs fixed it for a time, you MUST remove the ignition coils and inspect the boot and tube for cracking.

Shorting out will damage both the plugs and coils,

What plugs did you put in? I put in boush ones and I had misfires until I put in ngk's. I still need to do a valve adjustment
