How do I install an Odyssey battery?

Hi guys. I wasn't sure where to put this thread, but, I have a question on how to install an Odyssey battery on the Fit...

I have a 2008 Fit Sport and I bought the exact PC925 battery from the Odyssey Online Store. (The site said it should fit.) But, now IDK how to install it. The battery has to stand up vertically and so the terminals are pointed sideways.

Whats wrong with the terminals pointing sideways? Could you post a pic for better help?

The terminals pointing sideways result in them pointing toward the back of the engine bay, so, that just interferes with too many things.

Well, I ordered the Odyssey L-shaped terminal adapter kit. It should help a lot. I'll update this thread w/ pictures when I'm done. (IDK why Odyssey didn't include that adapter with the battery in the first place...)

Ohh ok. Ya i was hoping they where facing forward. But definitely report back once you got it in.

What a time-waster...

I had to do one too many "ghetto mods" just to make this battery work right in my car; even though I had used the Odyssey battery search tool from the website. It pointed me to this battery (PC925LMJT-A). I had to put something under the battery to raise it up at least 1/2", then use two layers of double-sided tape to tape it down (because of the thick metal jacket), then buy the Odyssey L terminal adapter kit to turn the terminals upward, then buy a terminal shim set (since both Odyssey terminals were too small for the OEM Honda connectors; and why was the + Odyssey terminal a little bigger than then - Odyssey terminal?!).

The little instructional footnote on the product info page was of no help. I couldn't do what it said, because then it would just turn the battery terminals opposite of each other and I would need longer cables just to reach them. (Making longer cables is not an easy process.)

At the very least, that Odyssey L terminal adapter should have been included with the battery, along with a 1/2" plastic riser mount.

Even if I had gotten the Odyssey PC680 with the Password JDM mount, I would still have some battery terminal problems (refer to above).
