2007 Fit died driving down the road
Hi Fit Freak Forum!
I have a kind of strange problem. I was driving my car down the road and I went to make a left turn and as I hit the turn signal the car died. The headlights stayed on and the key light displayed on the dash. That was the only dash light I remember being displayed. But the engine had died and the turn signal didn't turn on. I coasted to the side of the road and then I turn the ignition key off, pulled the key out and put it in park. Then I put the key back in and turned it but the car won't start and no dash lights are displayed at all. Has anyone else experienced this at all? Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks, Ed |
check the fuse box under positive connector cover .Perhaps it is eaten away by corrosion affecting ignition ciruit

You may want to inspect the wire harness to make sure it is not rubbing against sharp metal edges
