Stock Height Replacement Suspension with Best Ride Comfort?

Looking for most comfortable stock ride height suspension replacements. Shocks, springs, struts, coilovers? Staying away from Honda not only because of cost which isn't the real issue but want better than stock ride comfort.

Do you need to lower in order to get best ride?

I've read about Koni, KYB, Ground Control Coilovers, Swift Springs, Twin Spring, etc bit they all show lowered springs.

Any tips???

I have a 2007 Fit Sport with about 140,000 miles on it and she's still purring just fine.

What did you decide

Hi GD3,

Did you ever make a decision on the shocks/struts? I'm in roughly the same situation with a 2008 Sport pushing 200k. It's amazingly hard to find parts for the 2007-2008 MY.

Unfortunately no aftermarket solution is going to ride better than stock.

The Fit will never ride really well, short wheel base & torsion beam rear suspension guarantee that.

Stock springs and shocks are probably your best bet for comfort. I don't know if the Tokico HTS or Koni with stock springs would make the ride much more comfortable since they can adjust the damping.
