Car Radio Stolen & now some electrics don't work?
 

Hi,

Last night, someone broke into my 2008 Honda Fit (Base/Automatic Transmission) and stole my car radio - an old Kenwood that I put in there over 7 years ago.

Now, some of the electrics don't work - the auto/power locks don't work. Also. if I leave my lights on, the car doesn't beep once I take my keys out to let me know that my lights are on. Windows still go up & down...

My question: Is the car wired so that if the stereo isn't there, that these electric issues would be there or are these electric issues separate from the car stereo and that the person who stole the stereo damaged the stereo?

Trying to figure this out before I call my insurance company!

Ooops, looks like the thief damaged the area by the lock control so that answers my question...I think!

Check the fuses. They may have popped a fuse as they broke in.

There are a bunch of wires and connections in that area .. check carefully..

Good grief, the thief must have been hard up. Sorry to read of this and I hope all is fixed soon.

Sadly, it's not the fuse so I have to go through insurance.
