Exclamation Looking to make my 2008 Honda Jazz quicker/more HP

I bought a 2009 Honda Jazz 1.5L L15A 5spMT and I have been searching the internet trying to find different flash tuners or other performance mods, but due to the fact that I am new to the Honda scene, I'm not quite sure which/what mods to do and where to get them from. I thought I'm better off asking people who have a bit more experience rather then buying something garbage. So let me know if you have any good websites/shops for performance parts or if you have any recommendations on what I should do, I would appreciate it, thx.

I'm not best to ask but as similar newer member there isn't that huge of a tuning craze with L15 engine, what you can do is work on simple stuff some closer to maintenance type items. A good intake system or even simply air filter one thing, replacing muffler with something straight-through design, doesn't have to be noisy fart style if that isn't your taste can just be anything with less obstruction, magnaflow for instance, similar with resonator if you want, and arguably the easiest but often forgotten and most important start adding fuel injector cleaner at regular intervals since that is where you lose the most power and fuel efficiency with EFI cars (but can also gain it back) as they age. If you really want to stick with stock engine there are various turbo kits, nothing crazy but its a option if that interests you. Fuel injector cleaner sounds like too easy too good but assuming you are casual car guy its biggest thing everyone misses that makes a very very real difference so i'm mentioning it again.

Basically simple things that work because there is no way for them not to work, none which are that extreme but especially in case you do it all will notice a nice difference and potentially make car 10x more fun to drive around in, just not the sort of power that blows you away.

With any engine IF there are a series of developments for power its question more of what people making the parts see drive/sales for, possible profits all that. With Hondas maybe its a stereotype there are crazy mods for everything but its largely dominated by few late model engines, not all. Think of it more like a Toyota engine where with rare exception there isn't too many parts since most people who wanted huge power found swaps easier. You'll see exceptions like what some figured out with the basic Camry/Rav4 Hybrid engines being a very cheap very capable race engine with stock intake camshaft on both sides and tailored cam timing to suit, oldschool hotrod type of tomfoolery, but that sort of stuff is super rare exception.
