Honda parts guy says the mugen exhaust doesn't fit the 2012 ??!!

Im at dealer , and they saying it doesn't fit the 2012 model ??

Hmm, they might be saying that because the mugen kit's front end doesn't fit the '12. As far as I know, there should be no problems.

It might also be a matter of the USDM GE floorpan being different from the JDM one's. Mugen had a similar exhaust system that wouldn't fit non-Japanese GD Fits because the floorpan was slightly different, and the Mugen exhaust really was made for the Japan GDs.

at the dealer they sell the USDM GE8 mugen exhaust. and since 09-11 and 12'+ fits have the same chassis (still GE8) it will fit on a 2012. the only difference between the 09-11 and the 2012 are the full front bumper, some window sizes, and interior design. theres also 2 types of Mugen exhausts that dealers should sell, one for the base/sport model and one for the Mugen fit. Because of the Mugen rear lip/diffuser they made a separate Mugen exhaust to fit the Mugen Fit.

if you scroll down to the Mugen Exhaust section you can see that it does fit 2009-2013 Fits. And one is made for the Mugen Underspoiler, one for the factory/stock.

Negative. I must have a needle in a haystack, as I call my guy, tell him what I need (generally with a part number so he doesn't have to find it), and get it at cost. Wham bam done.
