Remove Orange Reflectore from Front Lights?

I tried search, but didn't find anything... Has anyone removed the orange part (reflector) from the headlights? I did this on my old integra, civic *which invloved taking the light assembly apart) and accord, and never got in touble with the cops, so would like to do it with the Fit too if it's possible. Was hoping to find a DIY write-up somehwere...

Find the DIY for the retrofit and then follow that. I'd recommend putting vinyl over the reflector instead of removing it though.

Thanks for the response. But… the “retrofit?” I’ll try searching and see what I find. Covering with vinyl does sound better than removing it if that leaves a whole, but in my 01 Civic, the orange part was separate and came out cleanly, leaving the white/clear reflector behind. Wasn’t sure if the Fit was the same way. Covering with reflective vinyl would allow the function of the reflector to stay, I suppose.

Use that to get the headlight open. I was thinking matte vinyl though. I don't like the part being reflective especially when the majority of the housing is matte except the bowls.

Thanks for the link. I'll have to stew on it a little while to decide what'll look best, but I know I'd like to see the orange gone.
