I'm not 100% sure but I think that will fit the USDM GE8's, reason being is the JDM Honda rear spoilers are a direct swap with our spoiler. I'm guessing the dimensions should be the same in that part of our cars. Just a speculation though.

Looks like something from Wal-Mart. Does not go with antenna at all. Lose the antenna or move it.

Should at least be painted to match or better yet just individual fins with 3M tape.

some sort of fuel efficiency aid? aesthetic preference?

Fins are actually a functional item. I don't know if these specific fins for the fit are.
Have you ever seen an EVO with fins AKA "vortex generators"? It creates vortexes that coninue to the wing for more downforce

Yes, I have seen fins used on other cars and why they are used.

So again, why on the Fit?

They would be purely cosmetic on the fit I'm sure. The stock wing doesn't do much for down force anyways as has already be commented on. I used to like these fins but now I'm starting to not like them. Should fit though

$600?

Yikes.

It better do SOMETHING other than get you style points.

Edit because science rules:

It is a good paper, unfortunately for us Fit owners VGs don't do a damn thing, as even with a test platform that the vortex generators are designed for (winged sedan) it only did this much good:

Application of the VGs of the optimum shape determined
through the abovementioned analyses to the
Mitsubishi LANCER EVOLUTION showed a 0.006
reduction in both the drag coefficient and lift coefficient

Does nothing for a wingless hatch.

THE WINGS! THEY DO NOTHING!
