For the OEM JDM Honda auto-fold (on lock) module with harness - part # 08V02-TF0-000?
I bought this module already but didn't get to the install, there's no instructions in the box, but I got the Japanese install pdf, I can email you later. Unless anyone knows how to attach/upload a pdf?

Also I think the fitfans.br forum might have a DIY on that too.

Well I guess I'm going to go look at the ESM or lings Honda to compare the manual vs motorized mirror. (Feels a little bit like when I researched the climate controls lol).

As for the switch... The GE one is cheaper than the crv one I imagine, the only difference is the led is missing right? But then camivil pointed out that you just need to pop a bulb in? So maybe I should just take it out of my original switch.
You already have enough trouble... just get the CRV switch, easy as spreading butter....

exchange the motors is ( after DIY Automatic control ) quite easy, not surprises....
THE THING IS.. the motor comes with an 11-pin harness and the motor's pins are smaller.... in my car I had a 6-pin connector that has bigger pins that won't fit in the new connector.. therefore there was no way i could connect it to the passenger door. I do hope you have the 11 pin connector, but for me I just have 2 connectors, the original from the mirror plus the one with the new added options... also when you are putting all the cables out of the original folding unit you have to take the pins out of the connector otherwise you cannot take the mirror holding unit out...
I haven't done the driver's side, but the ESM shows this door has a 11 pin connector....
You will see that the cables are protected by a black tubular shape cover... will be good to make sure that he top of the motor, where the cables pass thru is sealed, so water won't mess inside, the motor cables come out from this tunnel...

The unit I got, chinese made, is a direct plug, but has 2 cables to link into ACC and Lock(+), which is still my nightmare lol...

I just hoped that I could tell you more funny stories about it, but I just didn't have any ideas, except that I want to have the keyless sensor....
I wish we could do more to it than just what meets the eye

P.D. I hope you are getting A japan made motor coz it cost USD40 here for each... :-0

I have not bought the auto folding wiring yet,
I haven't done much to my car lately, need to concentrate on making money now
but from what I read before, the instruction was included of course but it is in Japanese language hahaha, still if I am not mistaken, it had clear diagram on how to do it.
some poster at CR-Z forum had done this with detail step.

It didn't come with mine. Not sure if it came with ryu's... however, I did get a pdf of it from the seller, and the diagrams look easy to follow w/o translating.

So for the LHD you need 76204-TF0-P01 & 76254-TF0-P01 parts.
Just out of curiosity I checked the prices for these on amayama and there about $110 US each. Since I wasn't able to get to this install before the cold weather came, I'm actually thinking of swapping the motors out for the LHD versions.

Check out the DIY from the fitfans.br link, it needs to be translated, but it's a complete detailed DIY on how to swap the motors... after the epic mod you did this is easy peazy.
Wow lots of replies, I'll try to answer them all...

Wow thanks for that info! I'm gunna have to sign up for that site and get google translate installed.

I can't see the link yet cause I'm not a member, but does it confirm that the folding motor can swapped into the usdm mirror?

Glad you and alpina have the same PN for the module, will definitely Add that too my list. If you could email me the module installation instructions that would be awesome.

Thanks for the links. Like alpina, I'm still in money saving mode. But when the time comes I'll jump on those parts.

Camivill, I know I'm just trying to be cheap LOL.

I'm not 100% sure I understand what you're saying but I think I'll do the same thing. Since I'm basically keeping all the internals of my current mirror and only changing the folding motor, couldn't I just keep the original harness and cut off the 11 pin connector? I only need the wires that specifically operate the folding motor. So I was thinking I'd just take those wires individually and connect them directly to the switch and module. That way I could just leave everything else as it is.

Does that make any sense?

40usd? That's pretty cheap lol. Where did you find them?

now this is the part number that I knew:
the harness that came with the auto folding MODULE:
08V02-TF0-000

and the manual folding mirror control switch for
GE (not back lighted) 35190-TFO-J01

CR-V (back lighted) 35190-SWA-J02
35190-SWA-J02 is not a good USDM part #, is that a non USDM?

Well it's the Brazilian market mirrors, but I think they're the same as the NA market (ie. manual fold). In that DIY I linked you see clearly he swapped out his OEM part for the motorized folding mechanism (the parts I posted earlier). If I'm not mistaken that's the only mod you need to do (aside from wiring & the auto-fold on lock module/harness).

I'll email you later.

The lit CR-V folding mirror switch isn't available here, only overseas. The switch is useless if you don't install the folding mirrors to go with it.

I think that's good enough for me to believe they can be swapped in ours too. There's no reason honda should make the manual mechanism any different for Brazil vs NA.

Got the PDF thanks, looks tricky without knowing what the words are saying. I'm half Japanese, and was born in Japan, but I forgot almost all of the language lol.

Fitstir, looks like there's another mirror feature you need to add to you list!

Thumbs up

^^^ Nice find...

I thought about the puddle/courtesy lights, I was looking at the ones from rstyle I like the different winker LED too...
Mirror Cover With Light+Foot Lamp Jazz-2008 (FITT) - ? ??¹ Evo Mazda2 Car Accessories & Spoiler Civic Import Export

But I prefer the GD winker better though, it looks more "lux".
So I decided against it, especially cause I'll have to run so many wires as it is, but if I ever decide to do it, I'll just drill out for a custom LED, but probably not.

They got some nice stuff on rstyle but the shipping is killer, I got my 2-mode (blue/red) LED Ignition keyring from them. FIT(JAZZ) 2008 - ? ??¹ Evo Mazda2 Car Accessories & Spoiler Civic Import Export

That looks cool. It might be a lot brighter from the front, but the problem is you wouldn't be able to see it from the back. Not that that really matters.

I kinda want the blue keyring light lol. I probably have too much blue going on in my cockpit at this point though

The one from rstyle is like the world one unit. It blinks red when it's locked, solid blue when unlocked, and off when the key is inserted.

Nah. I live in Hawaii so there's absolutely no need for them. In fact..... I had no idea there were such things as heated side mirrors until prior to buying these! Haha.

^^^ Yeah, I thought that... lucky you, you don't have to deal with snow & several months of down time on mods cause it's too cold to do anything outside.

Post up pics when you're done with the install.
