Anyone replaced driver's seat w/ another Honda/Acura seat (w/o losing airbags)??
 

Anyone have experience swapping the driver's seat for a more comfortable Honda/Acura seat from another model, while retaining full airbag functionality? I've got a 2011 Fit sport. Makes my butt/legs sore. Didn't used to bother me much except for longer drives, but as I've gotten a little older/heavier over the last 11 years (6'3", 260lbs) it's more than I care to deal with. I've tried various cushions/supports; ready for something more drastic. I love this car otherwise! Thanks!

I have the same issue with front seat discomfort. Did you ever find a solution?

It is possible for a good car upholsterer to reduce the seats lumber support, without affecting seat bags functionality. I had this done on my previous car, a toyota

I wonder if you could just get a memory foam seat cushion. I've never found car seats comfortable unless you're in the luxury segment.
You'd also probably have to drill into the frame since the mount points will be different?

Bought some ep3 seats to put in. Will update after they're installed.
