WeatherTech's Digital Fit...next level digital.. (ooops) review

Ok.

I received my WeatherTech's DigitalFit floor mats.
If I had to rate this out of 5 stars, I'll have it this way.

1. Overall rating --- 4 stars. It's pretty good but definitely could be better. Material is fairly thick and a little heavier would be nicer. Overall fit is good too. Product delivery was decent - close to 10 days.

2. Front mats --- 4.5 stars. The front mats fit very well. The passenger side was perfect the driver side is snug but I think it just needs to get set in there a little. You'll see the driver side shot could be flushed a little better by the door sill. It has the bumps built in for people that have the Honda floormat attachment (driver side). I like that it has a fairly deep sidewall and definitely could see it working well for keeping slush of the car.

3. Rear mats - 3.5 stars. I was a little unexcited about the rear mats. It fit well as you can see in the pics but it could have been designed a bit better and it would be nice to have the walls higher like the front mats. I have kids and the rears will be used fairly well esp. with winter snow boots, etc. You can see in the pics that it doesn't really take advantage of the full form of the rear area for the mats. Definitely needs to be improved - wall depth and better form fitting and should extend past the seat bottom latches. I do like that it does the hump in the middle.

Summary, if you don't need the rears mats as much, you can save some money and just buy the front sets - worth the money.

I hope this helps you in deciding to get them or not.

Patrick

Thank you for the review! I have a question though... are those black (I think they are, but I'm not positive), or gray?

Chloe.

Those are the black sets. Flash kinda washes out the black on the pics. I also lightened it up too so everyone can see if better.

:-)

I just bought the front pair. Had them for about a month and think they are great. Love that they don't move around.

Wow those are way nicer than the factory all seasons. Kind of makes me wish I would have waited. Nice pics!

That's a good fit. I like how the fronts have that tall wall kinda like a bucket. On my factory one the walls are too short and so salt water almost always stains the surrounding carpet.

Ah! Thanks!

I was leaning towards the gray, but the black does look really nice...

ok, this is what i was lookin for, bigger pics of 'em installed.

i like the idea of a "cover all" rear mat, but it looks like 3/4 of it is under the rear seats when they're down...so i'm still on-the-fence about those.

as for the fronts...pretty nice. only nit-picky thing, based on yer pictures, is that little gap on the driver's side. that'd get on my nerves...maybe it just needs time to settle in? a few days in what's left of the summer heat maybe....or a hot air gun...? post some follow-up pics if ya think about it.

thanks for the info!

I agree about the gap. It would drive me nuts too if it doesn't settle in properly. I was tempted to use a heat gun but maybe once it's parked outside in the heat when I'm at work, it may help.

The rear covers fairly well. It's a little deceiving because the seats are up. It would have been better if they made it with a little bit more material that goes under the forward seat.

I'll take pics after some time.

I think those front mats are sweet, but I don't like how the rears don't go under the front seats enough. Right where it's comfortable to put your feet you'd be half on, half off the mat.

I just ordered mine today. (The front and the back)

Thanks for posting the pics. Has that gap in the front driver's side gone down yet? I bet that material is pretty stiff.

That's a good point. The Honda all season back mats I have do a much better job of covering the floor. They go almost all the way under the front seat. (they're actually bigger than the front mats).
