Diagrams

I've been searching for a specific 2009 Honda Fit Sport Alarm wiring diagram... I hope this is correct, because I'm going to try using this diagram with my alarm... can anyone confirm? Thanks, Sam

I couldn't tell you off the top of my head if that's correct, but I can get it for you when I'm at work tomorrow. I'll email it to myself and PM you when I'm home.

EDIT: I need it myself, actually, as my mom just bought a GE8 two days ago. I'll be putting in a basic alarm for her in the next week or so.

ALWAYS TEST YOUR CONNECTIONS WITH A DMM, MYSELF AND FITFREAK ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR CAR.

12 Volts, white (50A), ignition switch, brown 7 pin plug, pin 3

Starter, Pink, ignition switch, brown 7 pin plug, pin 1

Ignition, yellow, ignition switch, brown 7 pin plug pin 6

Accessory, orange, ignition switch, brown 7 pin plug, pin 4

2nd Accessory, red, ignition switch, brown 7 pin plug, pin 5

Power lock, light blue, (-) dash fuse box, light green 12 pin plug, pin 8

Power unlock, gray, (-) dash fuse box, light green 12 pin plug, pin 1

Parking lights, gray, (-) headlight switch, black/white 12 pin plug, pin 11

Parking lights, gray, (+) dash fuse box, green/white 49 pin plug, pin 42

Ok, the door triggers are all separate so just use the dome supervision..

Dome supervision, blue, (-) dash fuse box, light green 8 pin plug, pin 7

That should be enough info to get in a basic alarm and keyless. if you guys need anything else just ask.:)

...I should also add that this info is for 09-11 ONLY. 07-08 is different, and I'm not sure about 12

thanks a bunch! one question though about the door triggers; i think from what i read there's 4 different wires, one for each door? can you just connnect all four to the one input on the alarm? i read somewhere about using diodes?

i've done a few successful alarm installs on a few cars of mine but i won't pretend to know much at all about this so any tips are greatly appreciated!

You want to use diodes for each door to prevent back feeding (a diode will keep the door triggers isolated from each other)

The colors are as follows..

LF door, blue, (-) dash fuse box, green/white 49 pin plug, pin 33

RF door, light green, (-) dash fuse box, 49 pin plug, pin 32

LR door, pink, (-) dash fuse box, 49 pin plug, pin 26

RR door, green, (-) dash fuse box, 49 pin plug, pin 40

if you want to go this route then install your diodes cathode side (stripe) towards the car (because you only want negative to flow back to the alarm brain)

hope this helps.

yes it does thanks! so just to confirm, i do wire all four wires with diodes inline to the one wire to the alarm correct?

2slo 10-11-2011 10:34 PM

That's correct. Just curious, what brand alarm are you installing?

socalautowerks 10-12-2011 02:39 AM

it's a viper 5902.

thanks again!

No problem man, if you have any other questions just let me know. I've installed many alarms so if you run into any snags or whatever just ask.
