Opinions on this shift knob.

So I am finally getting around to some of the mods to my fit I have always wanted to do. First was rims and tires, next is Clazzio seat covers which will be here next week. And now I am looking at a new shift knob. I like the style of the JDM one, but I am not gonna pay that much for a shift knob. So I found this one, which kinda goes with my cars paint Blackberry Pearl.

Lemme know what ya think.

Looks pretty good to me! Not sure if it's your cup of tea, but Blox has a shift knob I think you might like if you want something to match your paint (bottom left). It's the Blox 490 I believe:

I believe they sell for around $50. Anways, hope this was helpful :wavey:

Check out the all stainless knobs at moddiction.com

I love mine! They have multiple finishes as well and do not have the shift pattern on top.
I actually prefer no shift pattern or engraving (like blox) because then you don't have to use a locking nut and your knob will look better and sit a lot lower.

The knobs at moddiction are also completely countersunk and sit much lower than the blox I used to have. It's leaps and bounds above blox in terms of finish and overall look.

To each his own.

I don't care for it.

Price looks good.

Things to consider (for me):
Feel/grip of the knob when shifting
Material - metal knobs tend to get really hot on warm days (palm burns)

I had a metal one on my other car (STi metal brushed shift knob) and switched to a bigger, rounder non-metal (Cobb). No more palm scorchers and better grip. :) So function over looks for me. Good luck! :wavey:

They have a nice purple one but the price is way higher than I want to pay for a shift knob.

Kinda looking around,

HONDA JAZZ/STREAM/CITY/CRZ/FREED/STREAM SHIFT KNOB JDM | eBay

HONDA JAZZ/STREAM/CITY/CRZ/FREED/STREAM SHIFT KNOB JDM | eBay

I think I like the Non-metal version of these two.

Yeah but those knobs don't say they are counter sunk and honestly that's the best part of my moddiction knob. It sits so low and feels and looks way better than stock or than the blox. It's a quality piece.

No clue wtf you are talking about, somethings I am brand specific on, however a knob isn't one of them. I just want something nicer than stock, that doesn't cost me $100+ for a shift knob.

Shift knobs

I know this is an old thread and I suspect the OP has already made a decision.

But my concern with that knob?

Knobs with the shift pattern on them? That looks to either be a decal or painted on...and I would suspect it would wear off very quickly.

I like knobs without shift patterns...and/or if they do have it? At least engraved into the knob.

I think it looks bad when a shift patttern rubs off....
