[My Review] Honda Fit Genuine Cargo Cover

I wanted a cover for the cargo area. This product seems expensive but upon reflection is about normal for OEM parts. Two things: Heed everyone's warning about reclining the rear seats. Yup there is a gap, and I would never have figured out that the rear seats recline without the helpful Amazon reviews. Also: get the clips that are taped inside the box before you throw the box away. These clips go on the lift gate so the strings can connect to them. They are not packaged nicely with the instruction manual; they are taped to the underside of the shipping carton. None the less: it fits, and it covers my cargo area so I'm happy!

The best thing about the cargo cover IMO is that you can use it for the LED strip lighting cargo hold mod/hack.

Cargo Cover A Must

I had already deceided that I would have to have a cover for my FIt, as I don't care for dark tinted windows. Both the OEM cover on my original GD, and OEM cover on the replacement GE worked/work flawlessly! Got a better than OEM price by shopping Ebay!

I have the cargo cover and the cargo mat. Both are fine, but I preferred the mat and cover on my '08 Fit.

I guess I'm on a limited budget. I have the cargo cover floor mat but not the upper cover. I went with limo tint instead on the back window and you cannot see inside at all at night. And yes eBay is one great way to save money even on factory OEM parts.

This is my next purchase! I don't like the sound of everything moving around in the trunk space so I'm hoping it reduces some noise. lol I found some really good prices on ebay shipped. One of them is a dealer in the valley that lets you pick up at the dealer.

I'm annoyed it doesn't come with the car, but HondaCostCuttingMeasure... :/
I like it though, it fits great, but I DO have the 5% tint and I like it.
Gonna do the LED mod to the back and top because the lights are kinda weak.

The cover helps with noise a little. I'm cheap so I made one out of 2 pieces of foam core hinged in the middle and painted dark gray. Not as pretty but works well.

There is no gap. Because there is a moveable section that moves with the rear seats. It snaps to the back of the seat.

1) How the hell do the rear seats recline?
2) Where do the snaps for the cover go?

Google. The same levers that fold your seats down.

Looks like the previous owner must have purchased the cover after initial purchase and didn't install the snaps.

You can buy the snaps off of amazon. They are universal.
