Floor mat question

I have the rubber OEM floor mats in my '09 Sport and as we all know, the driver's side mat can be secured while the passenger's can not. Is there a way to secure the passenger's like the driver's?

My wife always manages to "scrunch" and push the mat forward and dirtying the carpet. Drives me nuts.

Thanks.

Buy Aries liners, they won't move at all.

No idea how to keep the OE mats in place.

In looking at them, I can see that the driver's side has the same securing system as the OEM's while the passenger side has nothing as well. What keeps the passenger side from moving?

Molded floor liner set, stays put

Take a look at these:

Bought the complete front and back set a couple of years ago, LOVE them. Uses a velcro-like Maxpyder material underneath which grabs into the carpet and really hangs on. No need to cut into the floor or anchors. I did remove (with a lot of effort!) the plastic driver's footpad (hot-glued at the factory) to expose bare carpet beneath to give the hooks maximum grab. Sides are molded to fit the footwells very nicely, simple to vacuum or rinse as needed. Only problem I experienced was my right heel was cramped by the molding when holding the gas pedal, so I carefully trimmed off the right side of the driver's mat. No more problem and is fine now. Very durable, fine diamond crosshatch grid, non-slip, no wear after 2 years and Florida sand.

Amazon.com: Aries HD04211509 Black Front 3D Floor Liner - 2 Piece: Automotive

A couple things, the first is that their design molds them pretty much perfectly to the floorpan, the second that the bottom of the liner has this strange carpet-esque material that sticks to the carpet like glue and keeps them from sliding.

Ms. 410b has not moved hers even a mm all winter.

I just bought the same Aries mats and they fit perfectly. They have not moved a bit, either passenger side or the rear.

You could also get some industrial-strength adhesive Velcro straps and place the "hook" ones on the underside of the passenger mat. They'll hook into the floor carpet a bit. I did this to get my WeatherTech gaps sealed up. Works well.
