Defi Gauge/Garage Amis/JDM Fit RS Speedometer Emblem
Hello,
I want to combine my journey on installing the Defi Water Temp and Boost Gauge plus AEM UEGO and Garage Amis Gauge Cover plus changing the center plastic part on the USDM Speedometer with the JDM Fit RS so now it have the RS Logo:
First the Garage Amis Gauge before covering with Leather and Yellow Stitching:
After Covering:
Test fit with Defi Gauge:
The Adaptor since The mounting hole is 60mm but AEM UEGO only 52mm:
Drill a hole on the original speedometer hood so I can run the wiring for the Defi and AEM Gauge:
Use Rubber Grommet, just because I want to be perfect hahaha
to be continued in few minutes:

Take out the clear cover by pushing the tab:
Take out the black surrounding part again by pushing tab:
Push the lock pin on the center part where the RS emblem is,
later pick out from the side and voila it is off:

Curious on how the Amber Gauge would look like and test the function,
and I found out that
Everything works perfectly accept since JDM is CVT, the gear indicator do not work at all.
Everything works perfectly EXCEPT since JDM is CVT, the gear indicator do not work at all. (my car is AT).
what interesting is there is a FUNCTION that can show REMAINING Mileage before the gas tank is EMPTY !!! on the center digital display.
Too bad I already bought Defi Gauge in Blue lighting so It will not match this .
Again the function like indicator that show Driving and Head Light on is working,
seat belt unfasten working, rpm and fuel level gauge works perfectly, engine check light working (I have engine error code now so I know hahaha) basically all working... and NO airbag warning error light on so that is good...

It's Defi turn to be installed:
First put back the top speedometer cover and let the wiring come out:
Apply 3M Double Tape on the Garage Amis Gauge Hood:
Install on top of the speedometer hood:
I am tired now so I will continue the wiring of the Defi Gauge to the Defi Control Box soon

Connect the Defi Gauge to the Control Unit today,
finally able to see it's light up...
The Blue light is Beautiful
Control Unit and The Remote Control:
I put the Control Unit inside the Upper Glove Box,
I plan to put the AEM F/IC-6 ON TOP of the Defi Control Unit:
I put the remote control near the cigarette lighter socket...
I also move the ScanGauge from top of the center vent to top of steering column but angle toward the headliner so it won't distract me too much while driving....
I also reroute my Garmin GPS cable so dashboard less cluttered...
Next step is to connect the water temp sensor but I got to wait for my Samco Hose from UK to arrive,
while the Boost sensor also had to wait until my Sprintex Supercharger installed...
