Speakers work but tweeter don't
 

Hi Fellow freaks,

I upgraded my stock head unit with a JVC kw r940bts. I used the metra harness to hook it up. Im running stock Speakers but the tweeters are not playing. I double
checked my wiring and it seems solid. Any ideas?

Might depend of the original wiring. If the stock radio has 6 speaker outputs (2 x front, 2 x rear, 2 x tweeters), but the aftermarket radio only has 4 (2 x front, 2 x rear), that might be the explanation. You'd need the wiring diagram to figure that out.

Online it looks like it is just 4 wires and the tweeters are wired up to the front speakers. This is according to posts here on fitfreak
