What's this compartment?

This "Max 1kg" panel fell off in the cargo area, revealing some valve like thing inside. What exactly is this max 1kg panel and what's behind it? What is it used for?

That is to access the rear shock towers so you can remove the NUT to remove the rear shocks..

It is specifying that the max weight capacity is 1kg.. There was an optional rear cargo tray that was available for the Fit that snaps into the shock covers.
