Question ge8 2010 Honda Fit Sport Manual transmission leak

Hello Fit Owners,

Hope you are well and getting as much use out of your Fit as I do.

The transmission is leaking where it connects to the engine (underneath car). Car has about 150k miles.

Is there a good cheap solution like adding a "stop leak" liquid to the transmission fluid? What are the drawnbacks to doing this?

About how much can I expect to pay to replace the seal?

Any other work that should be done while this work is being done - such as replace timing belt and/or clutch and/or other?

Thanks in advance for your info.!

I'm not expert, but I believe my fit had some leakage out of the drain hole because I never changed my fluid. I've read reports old oil gets hotter and it will create this leak.

So.. are you sure it's not coming out of the hole/plug?
